Valencia is the official site for the 32nd America's Cup, the event is going to be held at the renewed Port of Valencia during 2007. The landmark of the Port of Valencia for this international event is the “veles e vents” building, the America's Cup Foredeck.

The City of Arts and Sciences set up by the Government of Valencia, is situated on the former bed of river Turia in Valencia. The project was designed by the valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, and is made of several unique buildings including l'Hemisfèric, el Museu de la Ciència, l'Umbracle, l'Oceanogràfic and el Palau de les Arts. Cultural events related to science, music, cinema, tourism, fashion, and others are held in the premises.
